Next, we pass by the Temple of Zeus, Hadrian’s Arch, the Panathenaic Stadium, and the former Royal Palace, now the Parliament. We stroll through Plaka and visit the Ancient Agora, where Paul engaged with Athenian thinkers. A short stop at the Parliament follows, before we continue to Corinth.

On the way, we stop briefly at the Corinth Canal, a stunning engineering feat connecting the Aegean and Ionian Seas.

We then explore Ancient Corinth, where St. Paul lived and preached. Highlights include the Temple of Apollo and many other sights. Finally, we visit the ancient port of Kechreai, where Paul set sail for Ephesus.

We return to Athens in the late afternoon.

Day 3 - Cruise Mykonos

Today, we visit the most lively island of the Aegean, Mykonos. You’ll have free time to explore the island at your convenience.

Walk through pretty white streets with flower-covered walls, visit the famous Paraportiani Church, or enjoy a relaxing stroll along the waterfront of “Little Venice,” ending at the island’s well-known windmills.

We begin our day at the port of Kusadasi in Turkey and visit Ancient Ephesus, where  Apostle Paul lived and preached. There we also find the house of Mary, the Mother of Jesus Christ. We’ll explore the impressive old historic city, which dates back to the 10th century B.C.

Around midday, we return to the ship and sail to the island of Patmos. In the afternoon, we visit the Monastery of John the Evangelist and the nearby Cave of the Apocalypse, where he wrote the Book of Revelation (Revelation 1:9). After the visit, we return to the ship and continue our journey.

When we reach Heraklion, Crete, take a photo of the old Koules Fortress by the sea. Then, enjoy a visit to the famous Palace of Knossos and the Knossos Museum, where you’ll hear exciting stories and learn about Europe’s first ancient civilization. This is also the island where Paul visited for three weeks and left his companion Titus to lead to local churches. This is where Apostle Paul’s letter to Titus arrived, and it was written from Nicopolis, modern-day Epirus, Greece.

Our evening will be spent in Santorini, one of the most beautiful and romantic islands in Greece. With its whitewashed houses, blue-domed churches, and stunning views from the cliffs.
